The 1975 Tickets & 2023 Tour Dates
The 1975 are a British alternative rock group formed in Manchester consisting of vocalist and guitarist Matthew Healy, guitarist Adam Hann, Drummer George Daniel and Bassist Ross MacDonald. Healy formed a band that would later become The 1975 during High School in 2002. During this time, the band played mostly cover songs of popular artists.
The band’s first EP was released in 2012, titled Facedown, which saw radio air time in the UK and on national radio with the lead single form the album, “The City”. The 1975 continued their commercial success throughout 2012 with the release of their second EP titled Sex. The title track from Sex was championed by BBC radio host, DJ Zane Lowe, who played the track ceaselessly on BBC Radio 1. In support of the band’s releases, The 1975 embarked upon a world tour which included shows in the UK, US and Ireland. The 1975 released Music For Cars in 2013, which included their mainstream breakout single, “Chocolate”. Later in 2013, the band released their fourth EP, titled IV, which included a new version of their hit song, “The City”, that charted in countries around the world. Since the band has only gotten bigger and bigger with each album release.
The 1975 Tour - 2019
The 1975 are releasing new music and touring in 2019. After much anticipating, they have finally announced a North American tour. The 2019 1975 Tour will kick off in Phoenix in April and hit cities such as las Vegas, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Minneapolis, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC, and Toronto.
