The Killers, the indie rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, was formed in 2001 by lead vocalist and guitarist Brandon Flowers, backing vocalist and guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist and backing vocalist Mark Stoermer, and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. When Brandon Flowers left the Las Vegas synthpop band, Blush Response, Flowers began searching for other members to start his own rock band. The Killers were soon formed and created their first demo in 2001 and were performing live shows by 2002. The Killers signed with the British independent label, Lizard King Records, in 2003 and released their debut studio album Hot Fuss shortly after. Hot Fuss received several Grammy Award nominations for their hit tracks “Somebody Told Me” and “Mr. Brightside”. Since then the band has released several more albums and have grown to become one of the world's biggest bands, selling out shows and headlining major festivals around the globe. If you want to see The Killers perform live, then do not miss your chance to see them when they play a show near you.
