TV on the Radio’s third studio album was titled Return to Cookie Mountain, released in 2006 and immediately received praise from a number of music media outlets, including Pitchfork and Spin. Return to Cookie Mountain featured appearances from David Bowie, Omega Moon, Celebration, Dragons of Zynth, Martin Perna, Stuart D Bogie, Antibalas, Blonde Redhead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and even more featured guests on select tracks. One of the band’s hit singles from Return to Cookie Mountain was “Wolf Like Me”, which they performed on The Late Show with David Letterman. Spin named Return to Cookie Mountain Album of the Year in 2006. TV on the Radio’s fourth album was released in 2008, titled Dear Science, which won Album of the Year with Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Spin, The Onion AV Club, MTV, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, and the Pazz and Jop critic’s poll. TV on the Radio performed the singles “Golden Age” and “Dancing Choose” on late night talk shows extensively following the release. In 2011, TV on the Radio announced their new album, Nine Types of Light, which would become yet another breakout hit for the band. TV on the Radio simultaneously released a one hour film with the album under the same name which featured music videos and band interviews. The band’s 2014 studio album release was titled Seeds. TV on the Radio toured extensively in support of Seeds, performing at Shaky Knees Music Festival, Boston Calling Music Festival, and many more. TV on the Radio North American Tour
In 2015, TV on the Radio announced that they would be performing at stadiums and music festivals all around North America, primarily in support of their 2014 album, Seeds. TV on the Radio performed songs spanning their entire musical career during their 2015 North American Tour, including fan favorite tracks like “Golden Age”, “Wolf Like Me”, Dancing Choose”, and many more.
