It seemed like they would get the win, however they managed to finally get into field goal position it was just in time for the clock to run out on them. The Giants won with a final score of 20-19.

Sunday, October 25, 2015 at MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ) NY Giants 27, Cowboys 20Coming off a terrific first matchup, the 2nd Cowboys vs Giants meeting of 2015 was crucial for both teams chances in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys brought in Matt Cassel, who started his first game for Dallas, and the Giants took advantage of his lack of experience with the team, forcing him into 3 interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Former Cowboy Dwayne Harris returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score, as the Giants scored 2 of their 4 touchdowns on defense and special teams. The Dallas defense forced the Giants to punt with just over 1:30 left in the game, but Cowboys return man Cole Beasley muffed the catch, giving the ball, and the game to the New York Giants.

The Giants defense throttled the Cowboys, forcing them into multiple turnovers and held the high powered Dallas attack to only 6 points in the first half. The game also saw Dallas Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant exit with a foot injury that may affect the course of his season. In the 2nd half, the New York Giants capitalized on a Cowboys turnover and drove the ball to the Dallas 4 where they had a 1st and goal. But the Cowboys defense held firm, forcing the Giants to kick a field goal to go up 26-20 with 1:34 remaining in the game. With little time left, Tony Romo led a terrific drive down the field, delivering the ball to Jason Witten for the go ahead score with just 7 second remaining.

The catch gave the Giants tons of momentum heading into the half up 21-10 over the Cowboys, but would be short lived as Tony Romo would bring his Cowboys back with 12 unanswered points to take the lead in the third quarter 24-21. After a New York score to take the lead with three minutes left in the fourth, the ball was back in Romos hand's and he did not disappoint. A 2:00 minute, 7-play drive, for 80-yards ended with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant for the win 31-28.

DeMarco Murray created another first by becoming the only player in NFL history to start the season with 100+ rushing yards in each of the seven games of the season. Romo finished the day with 279 yards and 3 touchdowns connecting with Dez Bryant for 151 of those yards in the 31-21 win over New York.

Sunday, November 24, 2013 at MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ) Cowboys 24, NY Giants 21 It was a game of turnovers that propelled the Cowboys to an early 21-6 lead. The Giants kept fighting and after a 27 yard TD pass to Brandon Myers New York found themselves back in the game. Eli found Luis Murphy in the fourth quarter and after a two point conversion the game was tied at 21. It was all Tony Romo in the last five minutes of the game converting on two crucial third downs in a drive to set up Dan Bailey with a 35 yard field goal for the win 24-21.

Sunday, September 8, 2013 at AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX) Cowboys 36, NY Giants 31After matching field goals in the first quarter the Cowboys took a 3 point lead going into the half, 13-10. In a early third quarter turn, Barry Church returned a 27 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown to set Dallas ahead 20-10. Eli connected with Victor Cruz on a 18 yard touchdown pass after a Witten score from the Cowboys leaving the third quarter at 27-17 Dallas. In a last second effort from the Giants, Eli found Brandon Myers for a 4 yard touchdown with 11 seconds left in the game. The Dallas Cowboys would go one to win 36-31.

The Cowboys made some adjustments during the half and were able to put up 14 unanswered points in the third quarter for a 24-23 lead over the Giants going into the fourth quarter. Despite the push from the Cowboys in the third quarter, the Giants took home the win after a pair of 35+ yard field goals from Lawrence Tynes leaving the Cowboys trailing 29-24.

Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ) Cowboys 24, NY Giants 17In the 2012 Season Opener the Cowboys traveled up to New York to face the Giants at MetLife Stadium. It was a slow start by any means leaving a scoreless first quarter and a 7-3 Dallas lead at half time. Tony Romo would find Kevin Ogletree in the enzone twice in the second half leading to the Cowboys 24-17 win over the Giants. Romo finished at 22/29 with 307 yards, 3 TD's, and 1 INT while Eli Manning threw for 21/32, 213 yards, and a touchdown.
