Beale Street Music Festival Tickets Information
In the first week of the Memphis in May International Festival, The Beale Street Music Festival is held. It is a three-day festival running over the first weekend of May and will host a massive lineup from big name acts to local musicians. The festival is held in Tom Lee Park, at the end of Beale Street, overlooking the Mississippi River. Over 100,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which is traditionally the event that kicks off the celebrations of Memphis in May. The Beale Street Music Festival has been held every year since Memphis in May’s first year in 1977. There has been a street music festival held on Beale Street since the 1800s, when African-American musicians would come and share their love of music and performing there.
Beale Street Music Festival tickets are available for each of the three days, as well as a three-day pass. There are also VIP options, which include perks like viewing platforms, and complementary food and beverages.
