Fortress Festival is a brand new music and arts festival brought to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas by the same organizers of Fun Fun Fun in Austin. The event will take place on April 29-30, 2017 across Fort Worth’s Cultural District. There will be two live music stages and a heap of other installations and activities for music and contemporary arts lovers to enjoy. The festival is working in conjunction with Fort Worth’s Modern Art Museum to do this, so be sure that this festival is only going to get bigger.
It’s definitely a modern festival, with a real student/hipster vibe, but the organizers saw there was something missing in North Texas, and are prepared to bring Fortress Festival to fill the void. There will be plenty going on over the two days, and a range of music styles is lined up, but don’t bring your grandma if she prefers daytime TV to Jackson Pollock. If you’d like to be a part of the inaugural Fortress Festival, and therefore a part of history, a variety of ticket packages are available. You can get general admission for the two days, or each individual day, as well as VIP tickets for the two days or each day separately. The VIP admission includes entry to exclusive events over the festival, free tours of the Modern Art Museum, complementary food and drink and exclusive areas for the stages and other facilities.
