The Hangout Music Festival found it's place among the music festival population in 2010 on the shores of Alabama in Gulf Shores. Since then the beach front music extravaganza has become one of the scenes most popular attractions. Headliners of the inaugural Hangout Music Fest included Zac Brown Band, John Legend, The Roots, Black Crowes, Ray Lamontagne, and has continued to bring in some of the top acts year in and year out. The annual three-day festival usually snags a summer weekend in May to bring the fun to Alabama. As one of the first music festivals to take place on a beach, the Hangout Music Fest nearly doubled in attendance from it's first to second year in the making causing the event to cap it's attendance at 35,000. With it's growing popularity, the Hangout Music Fest is quickly becoming the premier music festival of the year every year.
