(Data updated 9/1/2017)

The Pitchfork Music Festival has been going since 2006, and this year is set to be huge. It is set to run from July 14-16,2017 at Union Park in the heart of Chicago. The festival will focus on the alt-rock, electronica, indie and hip-hop genres, and is hosted by Pitchfork Media, who specialize in these genres on their site, and hold other events around the country. The festival also hosts a range of food vendors, merchandise stalls and bars. Pitchfork Music Festival also plays host to local radio station CHIRP Radio and their record fair, where people can buy, sell and trade records - mostly vinyl.

Pitchfork Music Festival is the perfect place to see up and coming acts, as well as support local musicians, poets and artists. There are plenty of opportunities to experience the culture of the local scene, as well as join in the undeniable large crowds that will gather for the headliners. Each of this year’s headliners have played the festival before, lower on the list. They have all surpassed those levels, and deserve to be where they are this year. No doubt we will say the same about some of these acts in future years. Previous years have seen artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Twin Peaks, Empress Of, FKA twigs, Chvrches, Future Islands, Chance the Rapper, Jamie xx, Beck, Neneh Cherry, St. Vincent, tUnE-yArDs, Grimes, Kendrick Lamar, Bjork, ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, Belle & Sebastian, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Vampire Weekend, Ty Segall, Sleigh Bells, The Flaming Lips, The National, Jarvis Cocker, Dizzee Rascal, Bon Iver, De La Soul, Yoko Ono, Band of Horses and Spoon all play sets, and this year is set to be just as packed and diverse.

There are a range of Pitchfork Music Festival tickets to purchase, including individual day passes, weekend passes and weekend passes with VIP privileges, including air-conditioned areas, phone charging stations and exclusive food and drink vendors.
