Mayweather Jr. would make quick work of Gatti in six rounds. His junior welterweight title would prove to be short-lived as he made the jump to the 147-pound welterweight division. After knocking off Carlos Baldomir in 2006, Mayweather Jr. added the WBC welterweight title to his list of accolades.
