2022 BMW Championship at Wilmington Country Club
The 2022 BMW Championship is being played at Wilmington Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. The tournament will be played in August 2022 and include the top 70 golfers in the FedEx Cup rankings. WCC was founded in 1901 and ranks among the top golf courses on the East Coast. The tourney should draw fans from across the state, but also those big golf fans from up-and-down the Atlantic Coast.

The BMW Championship is the second leg of the end-of-season, right after the FedEx St. Jude Invitational which replaced the Northern Trust. The BMW Champ is the continuation of the "chase for the cup", which the quest of top golfers to finish 1st in the FedEx Cup points standings. The BMW is played just prior to the TOUR Championship and plays a big role in deciding the ultimate FedEx Cup champion. The field at the BMW Championship is stacked with the top golfers of the season and limited to the top 70 golfers in the Cup points standings. The BMW Championship is not played at the same course, as the tournament is moved around so it can be staged at the finest golf courses in the country.
