The Toyota Center is an indoor arena located in Houston, Texas. It hosts many nationwide concert tours, sporting events and is also the home to the Houston Rockets, Houston Comets, and the Houston Aeros. Many visitors who come to the Toyota Center remember the Toyota Center for its size and accommodation for many big events.
The Toyota Center was built in 2003 as the new home of the Houston Rockets and an entertainment center that could revitalize the downtown of Houston. Sitting a mere block away from the George R. Brown Convention Center, the Toyota Center is in the heart of the downtown district with easy access to all of the Houston hot spots. Bars, restaurants, and shops have begun to pop up nearby, as the economy is booming from the influx of people attending concerts and sporting events. The Toyota Center is known for its jaw-dropping glass atrium entrance that features one of the largest escalators in any professional sports venue, offering an extensive view of the skyline of Houston. It also holds the distinction of being the first Texan sports facility to earn the Silver Certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for its extensive green improvements.
The Houston Rockets are one of the most successful franchises in NBA history, but they have yet to win a championship in their new home. The Rockets are famous for their sensational postseason run in the mid-'90s behind the strength of Hall of Fame center Hakeem Olajuwon and starters Clyde Drexler and Sam Cassell. The team would capture the NBA title in back-to-back years in 1994 and 1995 and those rosters are still some of the most revered in Houston sports history.
The Rockets have posted winning records and made the playoffs a handful of times throughout the 2000s, but they haven't been able to break through to the conference finals since 1997. However, the Rockets still post impressive attendance numbers and have a solid foundation that should lead to more banners being hoisted from the Toyota Center rafters in the near future.
Ever since the venue's construction, the Toyota Center was planned to be the preeminent concert and large-scale entertainment spot in Houston. In recent years, the Toyota Center has played host to Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne Tour, Rihanna's Loud Tour, and Elton John & Billy Joel's Face to Face tour. The venue was even chosen for the Latin Grammys in 2008, further solidifying its reputation as a versatile, multi-purpose facility.
The Toyota Center has sparked a major revival in downtown Houston, and concert goers and sports fans will be enamored with its accessibility and stunning aesthetics.
The Toyota Center offers many services to provide a unique experience to its visitors. Not only does the Toyota Center accommodate 19,000 fans, but it also offers almost 3000 club seats and over 100 luxury suites. Many events held at the Toyota Center are often sold out, so buy Toyota Center tickets today and never miss an experience at the Toyota Center.
Toyota Center FAQs
What are the best seats at The Toyota Center?
For a Rocket game, you can't go wrong with club seats which are located in rows 1-25 of sections 105-109 and 118-222. If money is no object courtside seating for a basketball game offers an experience that many feel is the best seat in all of the sports. For concerts at the Toyota Center, floor seats are the way to go if you don't mind standing most of the show. 100 level seats also provide outstanding views from an elevated position.

Club Seats come with access to the Frost Bank Club featuring private club-only restrooms, full-service bars, televisions, and upscale amenities. The stadium seats are extra wide with additional legroom for added comfort.
