Client Support Representative (Full-Time):

The Client Support Representative will be responsible for providing customer service and support to our amazing clients, while working with our in-house sales team and outside vendors. The position reports to our Client Relations Manager. It is a full-time position located in Austin, Texas. You must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include day, night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to our clients, in-house team and outside vendors
  • Assist TicketCity clients with a variety of potential support needs
  • Oversee all orders placed through the TicketCity website and troubleshoot any problems
  • Answer inbound phone calls from clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, in-house team and outside vendors
  • Assist with fraud prevention efforts
  • Support inbound sales calls and the sales staff
  • Aide in various projects related to our website, sales and marketing

The Client Support Representative is a part-time job that will be responsible for providing customer service and support to our amazing clients while working with our in-house sales team and outside vendors. The position reports to our Client Relations Manager. You must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include day, night and weekend shifts. We can accommodate to work around class schedules if you are attending school.

Web Application Engineer:

At TicketCity, we are building new products for the secondary ticketing industry that will evolve the ticket buying experience. We are looking for a Web Application Engineer that is passionate about the full software stack and wants to come help us get to market.

You’ll be joining an experienced team that is building new products and supporting existing ones. We are adding to a microservices architecture that supports our e-commerce infrastructure. We’ve written a lot of .NET in the past, but are building in Node.js, Meteor, and other new technologies that we think are exciting. You would be joining this team to help evolve our architecture to add flexibility for whatever tools or languages we want.

What you will be doing:

  • Building RESTful web services that scale our e-commerce infrastructure
  • Streamlining the process of getting digital tickets from our suppliers to our customers
  • Helping to build a great mobile experience for our customers
  • Applying machine learning techniques to solve some of the biggest problems in buying tickets

About you:

Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • 2+ years experience with one web application framework (Java, .NET, Node, Django)
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL understanding a plus
  • Proficiency in a hybrid Windows / Linux / OS X environment
  • Grasp of REST services and HTTP constructs
  • Experience deploying to cloud environments
  • Experience with unit testing and test driven development a plus
  • E-Commerce experience a plus

Creative Design Intern:

TicketCity is searching for an intern sparkplug with existing knowledge of creative and concepting principles and how those ultimately apply within the marketing industry, particularly in digital form.

Job Responsibilities:

  • In-depth concepting of various sports and concert communications based on creative strategy
  • Aid in the redesign, development and production of marketing materials including but not limited to print, collateral, email templates, social media, web banners, and infographics.
  • Brainstorm and assist in the design and production of contests and promotional materials

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to conceptually design and think through various projects based on strategic direction
  • Must be proficient in all Adobe design programs based on interactive and print projects, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Must be able to prepare and package final print files and online files within specifications for vendors
  • Internship candidate must be enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate level student at their college or university
  • Must be enrolled in a Creative Sequence or Portfolio School Program
  • Previous internship a plus, but not required
  • Dedicated team player that is eager and personable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills a must
  • Must be able to work at least 15-20 hours per week
