2017 Masters Tournament Preview
The 2017 Masters Tournament is set to take place from April 6th to April 9th. The 2017 Masters Practice Rounds tee off on April 3rd, with the actual competition beginning on Thursday April 6th. Danny Willett enters the Masters as the defending champion, and comes off of the best year in his career.
A Masters badge is a laminated plastic ticket that provides access to the tournament rounds (Thursday – Sunday). A badge may be purchased for all four tournament days, individual days or a combination. All individual daily badges must be picked-up and returned each day (see Masters badge return policy). You can wear your Masters badge in a lanyard around your next or safety pinned to your shirt, but it must visibly displayed the entire time you are inside Augusta National. Badges grant you access to all patron areas on the golf course, including the practice area.
Masters Practice Round Tickets
Masters practice round passes are paper tickets that are issued for each individual practice round day (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday). They should be worn so the pass is visible the entire time you are inside Augusta National. A practice round pass grants you access to all patron areas of the golf course, including the practice area and the Par 3 course (Wednesday passes only).

What is TicketCity’s Masters Badge return policy?
Masters badges can be picked up from the TicketCity Augusta office as early as 7:30 am. Daily badges (Thursday-Sunday) must be returned to same location no later than 8:00 pm that same day (or 9:00 pm on Sunday). All Masters badges require a security deposit, which is released when the badge is returned.
What is Ticket City’s Rain-Out Policy at the Masters?
Daily Masters badges (single day badges) purchases will receive a TicketCity in-store credit if the entire round is rained out (i.e.- they do not swing a single club). There are no cash refunds and the badge cannot be used the next day. Clients who purchase a 4-day Masters badge can use the badge the next day and will not receive any refund. Consult our on-site staff in Augusta in the event of a rain-out.

Cell phones, PDAs or mobile phones are not allowed inside Augusta National. Cell phones can be checked at our Masters pickup location or at a booth outside the main entrance to Augusta National. There are pay phones available for patrons to use inside the course.
Cameras are permitted on practice round days (Monday-Wednesday) but prohibited on tournament days.
How much are Masters tickets?
The price for a Masters ticket fluctuates based on demand. The average price for a four-day badge for the 2017 Masters tournament is at $4,769. The cheapest average ticket price for the Masters is for the single-day practice rounds. The Monday practice round is the least expensive day and has an average ticket price of $462.
What items am I not allowed to bring into Augusta National Golf Course?
The list of prohibited items include: cell phones, cameras (only permitted during practice rounds), backpacks, purses & bags (personal bags, belt bags, purses no larger than 10W x 10H x 12D are allowed), alcoholic beverages, flags/banners/signs, radios/TVs or strollers. Only soft canvas folding chairs are allowed inside Augusta National. Folding armchairs or stools are prohibited.

Where are the best places on the course to see all of the golf action at Augusta National?
Get in when the gates open to leave a chair near the 18th green, which is the best spot to end the day at Augusta National. The energy around Amen Corner is amazing and the grandstand offers a great view of the Par 3 12th hole. The fairway on 11th hole provide a great view of approach shots at 11 and the 12th hole in distance behind it. The grandstand near 15th hole offers a nice view for of the Par 5 15th and the Par 3 16th over water.
