The Hard Rock Stadium is primarily a football stadium venue located in Miami Gardens, Florida. The field is home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Hurricanes college football team. The Hard Rock Stadium former name until 2016 was the Sun Life Stadium. Between 2014 and 2016 many changes and improvements have been made to enhance the fans experience when attending the stadium’s events. Once completed, the Hard Rock Stadium will be one of the most modern stadiums for events.
The stadium will have an approximate 65,000 capacity and that will include the about 10,000 wide and padded seats with chair backs and armrests. There is an open-air canopy that will provide 92% of fans shade during any game or event in the afternoon. The four new digital displays on each corner of the Hard Rock Stadium are each 1,472-inch high-definition screens, providing an easily accessible view for any fan.

The Miami Dolphins are the big draw in Miami and have played their home games at the Hard Rock Stadium location since 1986. Over the years and many name changes the Hard Rock Stadium has hosted the Super Bowl five times, the last Super Bowl was in 2010 when the New Orleans Saints went head to head against the Indianapolis Colts where they gained the win. The NCAA has also had a part in the stadium's history as the Miami Hurricanes home since 2008, the BCS National Championship Game coming to Miami in 2009 and 2013 and the site of the annual Orange Bowl Game since 1996.

There a many different parking lots that surround the Hard Rock Stadium. Each parking lot has east access from the connecting streets and they are each labeled by color: Yellow, Orange, Blue, Purple and Maroon.
What is there to do before the game?
Tailgate, tailgate, tailgate. The Dolphins and Hurricanes have one of the best tailgating experiences in football. Get a grill, some food and drink, and get to Hard Rock Stadium early.
