Where are the famous bleacher seats at Wrigley Field?
The bleacher seating in Wrigley Field covers the outfield (the 300 sections on our seating map), much like the vines on the wall. These seats are all general admission, meaning they are open seating and available on a first come, first serve basis.
Where are good places to eat before a Cubs game?
Wrigley Field is located near some of Chicago’s best restaurants. The Dug Out Sports Bar & Grill, The Stretch Bar and Grill, and Rebel Bar & Grill are three of our favorite sports bars. Chicago is known for having unbelievable pizza places. Big G’s Pizza, The Art of Pizza, and Homeslice are all worth checking out. If you are looking to try something new, visit Dragon Lady Lounge. Dragon Lady has plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and has a fun atmosphere. Mexican food lovers should try Lindo Guadalajara, or Tony’s Burrito Mex. Other great places in the area are Sultan’s Market, Rustic House, and Paddy Long’s.
Where is the best place to park at Wrigley Field?
Parking at Wrigley is limited. There are a couple of parking lots located to the west of Wrigley field on the north and south sides of Waveland Avenue. Most of the available parking is on the north side of Grace Street at Clark and Seminary. Chicago has great public transportation options. The CTA Red Line is the best way to get to and from Wrigley. Trains are usually packed with Cubs fans and allow you to skip the hassle of finding a parking spot and fighting traffic.
Does my child need a ticket to attend a Cubs game at Wrigley Field?
Children 2 years old and younger are allowed to enter Wrigley Field without a ticket, but must sit on a guardian’s lap for the duration of the game. It is best practice to have proof of your child’s age with you to avoid any hassles at the gate.
Club Box 16
Our absolute favorite place to sit at Wrigley Field is in Club Box 16. Located adjacent to the Cubs dugout, the first few rows of this section are feet away from home plate, and can see down into the Cubs dugout. There are no better views of the Cubs players at Wrigley than in this section, with front row seats to the dugout, on-deck circle, and home plate. Fans sitting in Club Box 16 also have full views of the two videoboards and the classic scoreboard in center field. If you want to experience the best that Wrigley has to offer, it is all right there in Club Box 16.
Field Box 129 & 130
If great views are important to you, but you don’t want to break the bank, we recommend sitting in Field Box 129 or 130. The seats in the field box are significantly cheaper than the seats in the Club Box, and still have fantastic views of the infield and scoreboards. Sitting in the Field Box will avoid the view obstructions of seats in the terrace or upper deck, and are only marginally more expensive. Great views and great prices make Field Box 129 and 130 some of our favorite seats at Wrigley Field
Bleachers
Fans looking for a great atmosphere and a cheap ticket should not miss the bleachers. The bleachers at Wrigley Field are general admission, with fans lining up a few hours before the game to snag the seats right above the outfield wall. The inexpensive tickets, and flexibility of sitting anywhere in the outfield attracts a livelier crowd, making the atmosphere in the bleachers as good as anywhere in the stadium. While typically not great for young children, adults looking for an easy way to experience the fun of Wrigley should not miss experiencing the bleachers.
