Marlins 2024 Playoff Tickets
The Miami Marlins have a unique history in the MLB Playoffs. The Miami Marlins started as an expansion franchise in the early 1990's and it took only 5 years of playing for the team to make its first MLB post season appearance. The 1997 Miami Marlins clinched the NL Wild Card spot after winning an impressive 90 games. The year was the first winning season in Marlins history, but the Marlins would not stop there. Led by the unforgettable pitching of Livan Hernandez, the Marlins scorched their way to a National League title. In the World Series, the Marlins won a thrilling 7 game series against the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians) to win the franchises first World Series title. The Miami Marlins would return to the playoffs in 2003, with a similar result. Once again utilizing a Wild Card spot, the 2003 Miami Marlins rode the pitching tandem of Josh Beckett and Dontrelle Willis to the 2003 World Series title. In only a decade, the Marlins went from expansion team, to multiple World Series champions. That success has continued up to today where the Marlins continue to outperform expectations in the 2024 season.
