Mets Playoff Games at Citi Field
Citi Field is the home field of the New York Mets in the MLB Playoffs and one of the top ballparks in Major League Baseball. Citi Field is located in Flushing, New York and holds 42,000 Mets fans a big game. Citi Field is full of modern amenities that fans will enjoy, but still pays homage to the Met's history ballparks that came before it. The most popular photo at Citi Field is outside the stadium with the iconic Shea Stadium home run apple, which sits directly outside the games to the ballpark. Additionally, the entrance rotunda is modeled after old Ebbets Field, the former home of the Brooklyn Dodgers, so fans really feel the history as they enter Citi Field.
Citi Field offers plenty of great places to sit. The lowest level by the field includes the 100-level Sections which include the Delta Club and Field Box seats. The upper-deck, or Promenade Level, includes Sections 501-538. At Citi Field, the Promenade sections (406-423) offers a tremendous Birdseye view of the field while making you feel like you’re on top of the action. You’ll likely have an opportunity for a foul ball, and as a bonus you’ll be shaded during day games if you’re sitting down the third base line. The New York Mets dugout is on the Citi Field first base line in front of sections 111-114.
