Houston Astros at Texas Rangers
Globe Life Park, Arlington, TX.

Globe Life Park will get its time in the spotlight but only after the Rangers get back from the Lone Star Rivalry in Houston for opening day. The Rangers will debut at their beloved ballpark in Arlington against L.A.'s Angels on April 5 with hopes of forgetting where they left off last season. Along with the 2012 Wild Card game the Rangers have lost multiple key players including Josh Hamilton, Mike Napoli, and Michael Young. It's not all bad news though because to fill those shoes in 2013 the ball club has in-listed the help of catcher A.J. Pierzynski and first baseman Lance Berkman.
The Rangers pitching rotation suffered a few departures but nothing that should keep Harrison, Darvish and Holland from doing what they do best. With Ogando, Perez and Lewis completing the starting rotation and the return of Joe Nathan's closing abilities the mound should be a secure spot for the Rangers in 2013. Spring training has allowed the Rangers to work out all the kinks before kicking of the season at Globe Life Park against the Angels.
