Texas Rangers Tickets & 2018 Schedule

The 2018 Texas Rangers schedule starts with a series at Globe Life Park against the World Champion Houston Astros on MLB’s Opening Day, March 29. Rangers opening day tickets are available for as low as $22 currently. Texas will host its newest rival, the Toronto Blue Jays, beginning April 6, followed by the Los Angeles Angels, who signed Japanese star Shohei Ohtani in the offseason. Rangers vs Blue Jays tickets are as cheap as $13, while Rangers vs Angels tickets are going for $11. The Rangers have two, eight-game home stands, spanning June 25 to July 4 (versus the San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox and Astros) and August 28 to September 5 (versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins and Angels).

The last chance to see Texas at home during the regular season will be September 17-23, when they host the Tampa Bay Rays and Seattle Mariners. The Rangers will host some of the top teams in the American League, including the New York Yankees, AL East champion Boston Red Sox and AL Central champion Cleveland Indians. The Rangers vs Red Sox series will take place on May 3-6. Not long after that they will host the Bronx Bombers – led by Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. The Rangers vs Yankees series happens on May 21-23. They’ll also host the Cleveland Indians from July 20-22. Interleague play for the Rangers will be restricted to the NL West, as Texas will host the Colorado Rockies (June 15-17), Padres (June 25-27), Arizona Diamondbacks (August 13-14) and Dodgers (August 28-29). This will be the first time the Rangers have faced Los Angeles or Arizona since 2015.

Rangers Tickets at Globe Life Park

The Rangers play their home baseball games at Globe Life Park, which is located at 1000 Ballpark Way in Arlington, Texas. The capacity is just over 48,000 fans and there are over 5,000 club seats and 100+ luxury suites. The ballpark is full for most weekend series, particularly during the Summer months.

Arguably the best value tickets in Globe Life Park are in the right field “Porch”, where admission gets you access to a buffet and a great view of the field. However, there are many views worth experiencing, such as the “short corner” in left field, where most home runs go in this stadium. If you want to avoid the Texas sun during an afternoon game, Rangers tickets in Lexus Club 226 give you a perfect view of the field, even when a ball is hit down either base line. Section 335 is the designated no alcohol section. For fans driving to Global Life Park to see a Rangers game, it takes just over 20 minutes from downtown Dallas if there is only light traffic. Construction or congestion on I-30 can increase that time. We recommend heading to the ballpark 1 to 1.5 hours prior to first pitch to allow time for traffic & parking.
