Construction on Q2 Stadium broke ground in 2019 at a site in North Austin near the Domain entertainment district. The stadium cost close to a quarter of a billion dollars to build. It opened in 2021 for the Austin FC's first home soccer matches, but also plans to host plenty of other soccer games, concerts, music festivals and sporting events.
