Starting in 2003, the LA Galaxy moved their home games to the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Previously known as the Home Depot Center, the venue was the first venue built specifically as a soccer stadium that the club would be centered at. Previously the LA Galaxy played their home games at the Rose Bowl. The move to the StubHub Center gave LA Galaxy home games a much more intimate feel and have helped elevate the crowd noise and interaction. The capacity of the StubHub Center is 27,000.
LA Galaxy vs. San Jose Earthquakes
The biggest rivalry for the LA Galaxy is without a doubt with the Earthquakes. Known as the California Clasico, the rivalry is one of the oldest in American Soccer. The teams have played over 70 times since 1996 and have been two of the most successful teams in MLS history. Where is the best place to park at LA Galaxy games?
There are a number of good parking options at LA Galaxy home games. Between Victoria St. and the north side of the stadium are 4 large parking lots that are available to fans. Lots 3, 12, and 13 are open to the general public and do not require a parking pass. There is another large parking lot located directly to the east of the stadium and extends all the way east to Tamcliff Avenue. On the east side of the neighboring California State University, Dominguez Hills, are four more parking options that sit on the west edge of Birchnoll Drive.
Does my kid need a ticket to LA Galaxy Games?
Children under the age of 2 years old do not require a ticket to an LA Galaxy game. If your child is under 2 years old and enters without a ticket, they will be required to sit on a parents lap during the duration of the game.
Can I tailgate before a LA Galaxy game?
