Western Conference Finals Experience

The Western Conference Finals are the pinnacle of conference play in the NBA's Western Conference. Determined to grab a spot among the eight playoff spots in the post-season, the 15 teams in the Western Conference play all season long with hopes of making the cut. Once selected a team must make it past the first round where the competition gets cut in half sending only four teams to the conference semifinals. The two winning teams from the semifinals will compete in the Western Conference Finals for a shot at advancing to the NBA Finals.

The Western Conference Finals is a best-of-seven series with a 2-2-1-1-1 game format. Home-court advantage is given to the team with the best record and does not take the playoff seeding into consideration. The team with home-court advantage will host the first two games and games 5 & 7 if necessary. Their opponents will host games 3 & 4 and also game 6 if necessary.
