The Atlanta Falcons’ battle with the New England Patriots is among the 10 hottest NFL games in September, according to ticket broker TicketCity.
The Falcons vs. Patriots on Sept. 27 has an average ticket price of $239.83.
The Philadelphia Eagles at Falcons game on Dec. 6 also is starting to gain traction among fans as upper level tickets are now priced at $125 and up. The game will feature controversial former Falcons quarterback Michael Vick suited up for the Eagles.
“With a capacity of 71,000, there are plenty of seating options for fans in the Georgia Dome, but if Vick returns to play in Atlanta, the price of that game will continue to increase even though it’s not until December,” said Zach Anderson, chief operating officer of TicketCity, in a statement.
Thanks to the return of Brett Favre, the Minnesota Vikings matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field Nov. 1 is the hottest ticket in the NFL this season. Ticket prices for Favre's return to Lambeau — in a Vikings uniform — start at $325, TicketCity said. The signing of the Hall of Fame quarterback with the Vikings last week led to a surge of demand for Minnesota games.
