That's The Ticket(City): College Football Bowl Game Gets New Title Sponsor

TicketCity, a key player in the secondary ticket market for more than 20 years, has signed a deal to become title sponsor of the new "Dallas Football Classic," now officially named the TicketCity Bowl.
The inaugural TicketCity Bowl will be held on Jan. 1, 2011 at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas and will air on ESPNU. The game will host teams from the Big Ten and the Big 12 conferences. Those teams will officially be unveiled on Dec 5.
Financial terms of the one-year deal were not disclosed.
The game now known as the TicketCity Bowl was created to replace the iconic AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, which moved after the 2009 event to the new Cowboys Stadium. The 92,000-seat Cotton Bowl Stadium, which opened in 1930 and is owned and operated by the city of Dallas, underwent significant renovations in 2008.
Several other college football post-season games have also have aligned with new title sponsors, including the Vizio Rose Bowl, the Discover Orange Bowl, the GoDaddy.com Bowl (Mobile, Ala.) and the BBVA Compass Bowl (Birmingham, Ala).

Austin, TX-based TicketCity also has post-season college football sponsorship deals that include the BBVA Compass Bowl, Beef O’ Brady’s Bowl, Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, MAACO Bowl Las Vegas, New Mexico Bowl and the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. TicketCity’s official collegiate partnerships include Georgia Tech Athletics, TCU Athletics, University of California, Berkeley Athletics and Vanderbilt University Athletics.
