Austin companies partner to provide consumer recommendations for event ticket purchases.

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE – May 14, 2010) – Austin-based companies TicketCity and Bazaarvoice have partnered to provide consumers with a voice online to share opinions, experiences, photos, videos and recommendations for live events. TicketCity CEO Randy Cohen and COO Zach Anderson visited Bazaarvoice offices today in celebration of the new relationship where Bazaarvoice CEO Brett Hurt donned an "I (heart) 808" t-shirt in reference to TicketCity becoming Bazaarvoice’s 808th partner. Cohen reciprocated by wearing an "I (heart) Bazaarvoice" t-shirt and kicked off the new relationship with a bang on the celebratory gong at the technology and service provider’s headquarters in Northwest Austin.

TicketCity is a ticket reseller providing services for clients to attend sports, concerts, and championship events in Austin and around the world. Through the combination of service and technology provided by Bazaarvoice, TicketCity will implement onsite ratings and reviews specific for performers, teams, venues and service to help visitors make more informed decisions, share their experiences with others and offer specific recommendations.
