TicketCity Showcases Ticket Availability after Official Bowl Announcements
National Championship game, Fiesta Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and Rose Bowl garnering highest demand

AUSTIN, Texas--(December 6, 2011) – After a weekend full of final regular season match-ups and championship games, the official bowl selections have garnered high demand for top bowl games, while other games offer more affordable pricing. TicketCity, a leader in the secondary ticket industry for more than 21 years, details all bowl ticket prices for the 2011-2012 season.

The BCS National Championship game will rematch No. 1 undefeated LSU and No. 2 Alabama. The rematch offers the chance for the Crimson Tide to beat out LSU or for the Tigers to show they still have the talent on the field that cannot be beat. This game will be the sixth year in the row that an SEC team will claim the championship title. Tickets are averaging at $1,925 per ticket but TicketCity has tickets for $1,166.

This year the Fiesta Bowl will hold the match-up between closely ranked teams No. 3 Oklahoma State and No. 4 Stanford on January 2nd. Although OSU fans may be disappointed about not making it to the BCS Championship, the team will still have to prove their skills when they go against the Cardinals. Currently, average ticket prices are $250 for this game and TicketCity.com has tickets starting at $99.

Two great games that will both take place on December 29th are the Champs Bowl and the Alamo Bowl. The Florida State Seminoles will take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at 5:30pm in the Champs Bowl. Tickets for this game are averaging at $155 on the marketplace but TicketCity has tickets starting at $53.  Following that game, the dynamic Baylor Bears will face off the Washington Huskies at 9pm in San Antonio, TX. The Bears will be a force to reckon with especially having the Heisman’s trophy candidate Robert Griffin III leading the team.  Average tickets for the Alamo bowl are $150 but can be found as low as $44 at TicketCity.com.

The second annual TicketCity Bowl is proud to announce it will be hosting Penn State versus Houston at the Cotton Bowl stadium in Dallas, TX on January 2, 2012. Either team is a strong contender to pull off a victory in this game. This season both teams have favorable winning records. Houston missed their chance to make it to their first BCS bowl after they lost to Southern Mississippi Saturday. TicketCity.com has prices starting at $22.
