NFL Pro Bowl Ticket Information

The NFL Pro Bowl is the All-Star game of the NFL, with the best players at every position getting voted into the game. It is played annually in Hawaii, and has undergone a few big changes in recent years. Instead of being played after the Super Bowl as it always has been, the game is now played on the weekend between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl. The format of the teams was also changed before the 2014 game, and now the teams are selected by draft instead of grouped together by conference. In 2014, Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will be picking from the pool of players sent to the Pro Bowl.

The Pro Bowl had been held at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii every season since 1980 (except for one) before moving to it's new stadium in Glendale, Arizona at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The game has many differences to a real NFL game, mainly to make sure players aren’t injured in the exhibition. There is no motion from the offense, intentional grounding is legal, there are no challenges and there are no blitzes allowed. The defensive restrictions also call for a 4-3 to always be used, and the scores are usually quite high, as you see in other league’s all-star games. Merlin Olsen and Bruce Matthews hold the record for Pro Bowl selections, with 14 each. Peyton Manning leads among QBs, with 13. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for NFL Pro Bowl tickets.
