UT Women's Volleyball at Gregory Gym
The Texas Volleyball team play their home games at Gregory Gym on the UT Austin campus. Gregory Gym was built back in 1930 has a capacity around 4,000 fans, and will often sell out for big matches. The atmosphere at a UT home volleyball game is unlikely many venues around the country, as the crowd at Gregory are loud, knowledgeable fans of the sport. The fans create an intimidating home environment for a Texas volleyball game.
There are two distinct levels at Gregory Gym, a lower-level and upper-balcony. The venue is small, so there are many good viewing angles throughout the building. Fans on the lower-level are right up on the action, and the Sections included here are Sections 1-4 (behind the team benches), Sections 5-8 and 13-16 (behind the ends of the court) and Sections 9-12 (which are typically reserved for UT students). There are a few courtside seats on the end of the court, and some of those seats at the bottom of Sections 5-8 are chairbacks. The upper balcony at Gregory Gym includes Sections 30-44 and 131-1444. There is also a large General Admission area at the top of the upper balcony. The balcony seating are bench style seats.
