The Professional Bull Riders series is the premier rodeo series around the world, with events in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and China. The PBR as it is often referred to, was founded in 1992 by a group of 21 of the top bull riders in the world. The series has grown into one of the largest professional sports leagues in the world, and includes over 100 events worldwide. The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) circuit includes three tours, the Built Ford Tough Series, Lucas Oil Tour Pro Division, and the BlueDEF Velocity Tour. The stakes at PBR events could not be higher, with winners at the Professional Bull Riders Tour taking home more than $11 million in prizes annually. The top of the Professional Bull Riders circuit is the Built Ford Tough Series, which encompasses more than 30 of the events on the tour, and features the world’s top 35 riders. A majority of the top Professional Bull Riders events take place in the United States, but top events have been poping up in countries like Canada, and Brazil, which have produced some of the top riders of the last decade.
