Rugby World Cup Sevens Tickets
The Rugby World Cup Sevens is the most prolific international rugby sevens competition in the world and ranks right up there with the top rugby events like the Rugby World Cup. It takes place every four years and includes both men's and women's tournaments. The competition began in 1993 with a men's tournament before a women's tournament was added in 2009. Upon the announcement that sevens would be added to the Olympics in 2016, World Rugby announced they would integrate the tournament's schedule with the Olympics', having them two years apart much like the FIFA World Cup in soccer. The RWC Sevens awards the winner of the event the Melrose Cup, named after the Scottish town where the first sevens game was played.
