The St. Louis Cardinals are a mainstay in the MLB, and have a long and storied history as they have been a perennial contender for years. Busch Stadium is commonly considered one of the best places to watch a game. The Cardinals aren't the only team to call St. Louis home; the city also hosts the home games of the St. Louis Blues, who play at the Scottrade Center. The Scottrade Center is also known to host concerts and shows, as well as occasionally host NCAA championships.
Concerts in St. Louis
Those looking to take in some of the city's cultural offerings would be remiss if they didn't stop by the Powell Symphony Hall. The venue is home to the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, which is the second oldest such organization in the United States. Other popular venues in the city include The Fabulous Fox Theatre, Peabody Opera House, and The Pageant, all of which host the biggest names in entertainment.
St. Louis Theater
The Muny, short for The Municipal Theatre Association of St. Louis, has been a St. Louis monument since it first opened in 1917.The Muny’s season is from mid-June to mid-August and typically has seven different play productions put on each summer. The Muny is located in Forest Park and is one of the top outdoor musical amphitheaters in the country.
