Hamilton The Musical
Hamilton, debuting on August 2015 on Broadway at the famous Richard Rogers Theatre, has taken audiences and the theater world by storm to become an instant hit. Hamilton was inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton, which tells the story of the founding father who came from an orphaned childhood to shaping America as George Washington’s right-hand man. As creator and former star of Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda uses this hip-hop musical to take the audience on an exciting journey through Alexander Hamilton’s life from a nobody to an American hero. The vision from Miranda has given Hamilton the reputation from critics as “the most exciting and significant musical of the decade”.

Hamilton on Broadway
The most popular show is Hamilton on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in NYC. Hamilton started here, and it remains the most popular location to see the hit production because of that rich history. The echos of the original cast can start be heard and the stage is the same that Line-Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Leslie Odoms Jr. and Phillipa Soo once walked across. There may still be some spit on the ground from Jonathan Groff's portrayal of the King of England.
Also in NYC, many fans attending went already and saw the early run of Hamilton and now want to go back to see it again. Others may be travelling to New York City and want to take in the most popular show in Broadway history. A weekend visit to the Big Apple will allow a fan to attend a Matinee or Evening showing of Hamilton and still see another popular Broadway show before leaving. Plus the vibe for this show in New York just feels different, and the Richard Rodgers Theatre only seats a little over 1,300 fans for a show, so it is a more intimate setting.
