The Tony Award winning musical production debuted on Broadway in 2003, but Wicked has since expanded to offer a touring shows which is out on a nationwide tour. The musical is based on the book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, by Gregory Magurie. It appeals to a wide array of audiences, but particularly resonates with any member of the audience who enjoys The Wizard of Oz. Wicked has entertaining musical numbers, including "The Wizard and I," "No One Mourns The Wicked," "Popular," and many more. Customers who have seen Wicked say it is one of the best musicals to attend if you want a great classic story and memorable music.
Wicked plays on Broadway at at New York City's Gershwin Theatre. The Gershwin is one of the legendary theaters in New York and has a capacity of 1,933 patrons. The Gershwin has three levels: the Orchestra (Rows BB to ZZ), Front Mezzanine (Rows A to E) and Rear Mezzanine (Rows F to N). The best seats are going to be located in the Center Orchestra or Front Mezz.
