2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships Tickets
The 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships are Thursday, March 17 to Saturday, March 19 Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Demand for the 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships is strong as wrestling fans will once again return to fill the arena. The University of Michigan and Detroit Sports Commission are the hosts of the 2022 Men's DI Wrestling Championship.
NCAA Wrestling Championships Schedule
NCAA Wrestling Championship tickets can be purchased for All Sessions, which includes every match over the three days of the tournament. Or individual session tickets are available for sessions 1 through session 6. There are two sessions per day over the three days of the tournament (Thursday - Saturday):
- Session 1: Thursday day
- Session 2: Thursday night
- Session 3: Friday day
- Session 4: Friday night
- Session 5: Saturday day
- Session 6: Saturday night
NCAA Wrestling Championships
The NCAA Wrestling Championships crowns the individual and team champions from college wrestling. Individuals wrestlers compete in 10 weight classes in a double-elimination tournament, earning points toward team titles based on level and quality of victory. In addition to determining the national champions, the Wrestling Championships also decide the Division I All-America Team. The top eight finishers in each class qualify for the All-American team.
The NCAA Wrestling Championships have been held for nearly a century since the first one back in 1928. Legendary college wrestlers have all made their mark on this tournament, including: Dan Gable, Cael Sanderson, and David Taylor. The great teams of college wrestling have showed up to earn their team championships, including: Iowa, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Penn State. The skills of each of those teams are sharpened during their regular-season matches and their post-season competitions like the Big Ten Wrestling Tournament and Big 12 Wrestling Tournament. For college wrestling fans, this is the place to be each March to see the next great champions.
