TNA Wrestling Ticket Information

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is the second-largest professional wrestling promotion in the country behind WWE, and it’s gaining more and more traction every year. The company was formed by Bob Ryder, Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Jarrett shortly after the end of the WCW, which had been the WWE’s only competition for years. TNA went on a straight-to-PPV route instead of going for television, and its first even was on June 19, 2002. Two years later, the first TNA Wrestling TV show was aired on Fox Sports. Currently, TNA airs on Spike TV under Impact Wrestling.

TNA has a long list of alumni, many of which were stars in WWE or WCW (or the other way around) before making the move over to Impact. Hulk Hogan, Sting, Roddy Piper, Sean Waltman, CM Punk, Lodi, Mick Foley, Diamond Dallas Page, and Chyna are just of few of the big names that have taken the ring for TNA, giving wrestlers another chance to stay in the game even if they fall out of the good graces of Vince McMahon. TNA - Slammiversary

Slammiversary was the one-time host of the King of the Mountain match, which helped propel it to the most popular TNA Wrestling show on PPV. The first Slammiversary event was on June 19, 2005, in Orlando and featured A.J. Style vs. Abyss vs. Monty Brown vs. Sean Waltman in the King of the Mountain match. The event has also featured wrestlers like Booker T, Kurt Angle, Sting, and Jeff Jarrett.

TNA - Lockdown

An April PPV event, Lockdown is one of the flagship events of the TNA brand. Lockdown was branded as such because it once had two cage matches, but since then it’s been changed to an all cage-match format. The first event was held in 2005 at the Impact! Zone in Orlando, but it has since moved around the country to cities like Philadelphia, San Antonio and Miami.

TNA - Bound for Glory

Another one of the flagship events, Bound for Glory was also created in 2005 and first took place at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando. Jeff Jarrett found Rhino in the first event, and then Jarett took on Sting in a Title vs. Career match for the Heavyweight Championship. Since then A.J. Styles, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy have all participated in the event.
